THE CABOOLTURE MAZDA BEEF GRAND PRIX
The inaugural Caboolture Mazda Beef Grand Prix brought together exhibitors from across the industry to compete for the richest prize pool ever offered in an Australian led steer and heifer competition.
The Grand Prix was designed to reward cattle that could perform both on the hoof and on the hook, with exhibitors competing across two components:

Following the led competition, exhibits competed at Ekka with their carcase performance providing the second component of the overall Grand Prix score.
Scores from the two Championships were combined to determine the Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight Grand Champion Exhibits, with the highest-scoring Divisional Grand Champion crowned the inaugural Grand Champion Caboolture Mazda Beef Grand Prix Exhibit.
The competition culminated in the Grand Prix Presentation Evening in Toowoomba on 3 October 2026, where the Catagra Group Carcase Championship and overall Grand Prix winners were announced.
